TECHNICAL FEATURES

• SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL is a concentrated shading paint which is used in order to protect any type of crop (flowers, fruit, vines, vegetables, melons, watermelons, etc.) in greenhouses or tunnels from essential solar radiation and infrared rays.
• SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL has maximum shielding effect in dry conditions to transform into complete transparency when wet. In fact, in case of rain, it optimizes the transmission of "PAR" light (the type of light perceived by plants), benefiting greenhouse crops.
• It is FASTER to dry after rain. Therefore it immediately carries out a shielded action from the first rays of the sun with immediate reduction of heat. Offers high resistance to infrared rays.
• IT IS SELF-DEGRADING: it dries out slowly after the first rains. With an average dilution it has a duration of about 6/7 months; in case of greater or intense precipitations the washout is higher and the duration is reduced. On the contrary, with scarcity of rains the permanence increases. For cultures that require a more persistent shielding, the permanent version is also available (indicative duration over 10 months) and semi-permanent (indicative duration 8/10 months). It is possible to transform the audegradant into permanent thanks to the addition of a binder additive (for 1 20 kg bucket of shading agent: 2 liters of binder).
• SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL applied on any type of greenhouse roof (glass, polyethylene film, polycarbonate, acrylic, PVC, etc.) reduces the internal temperature of the premises, in the presence of strong sunlight.
• SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL is OPAQUE AND REFLECTIVE in dry weather, TRANSPARENT in humid and rainy weather, but resistant to rain washout. it adheres evenly even on new plastic without creep.
• SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL can be easily diluted with water in the following concentrations: 1 part by volume of SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL + 2-4 parts by volume of clean water. (eg 1 bucket of SERRAKOLOR SPECIAL + 2-4 buckets of equal volume of clean water). The dilution ratio is directly proportional to the desired degree of shading. 1 diluted bucket covers an average of 800 - 1000 m2 of surface.
